Vacation Days Expiration Feature: please create option to disable

There’s a new vacation days expiration feature available in Clockify.
However, this feature cannot currently be disabled, even though we don’t necessarily want the accrued days to expire.
Please add the option to prevent accrued days from expiring, whether for automatically accrued days or for all vacation days in a counter.
Currently, because of this new feature, I’m going to lose the automatically accrued days each month for all my members.
It’s therefore urgent to implement the option to not use the “expiration” feature.

This is a huge issue for us. We do not want our accrued PTO expiring. The longest I can set it is 60d. We need a way to turn this off or we will need to swtich our time management systems to another vendor. We need this in the next 60d.

The rollout of this feature is a significant issue for our organization. Before the rollout, we were very pleased with the way the system calculated PTO; now we are scrambling to figure out a workaround. Please make this a priority to create a way to turn off this feature. Thank you!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to give you a quick update regarding the time-off expiry feature!

We’re excited to share a fix deployed today: You can now extend the expiry date for monthly accruals. This resolves the earlier issue where that extension option was unavailable. We hope this change streamlines your processes.

Also, we’ve received an update that the Product team is actively developing a solution to allow unlimited dates for Time Off policies. We’ll ensure you’re the first to know when that update is ready.
