I would like to understand the relationship between a time entry and a group.
A user makes a time entry. A user can belong to more than one group. We are using groups to assign functions to users - for example a user may be a team leader and also a developer.
There seems to be no way to distinguish which function (group) that user was acting as when logging their time. If I run a detailed report the time entry concatenates the users groups together.
It seems like a user should be able to select which group they want to log their time against. Is this not an option?
Am I missing something? Are we using groups incorrectly?
