Stopping with inactivity

I don’t know if I’m using it incorrectly, or if other people have the same sentiment. When I’m tracking a project and I’m inactive for a few minutes, when I click the stop button to stop tracking the app asks me whetther I want to keep the inactivity time or ignore it. If I choose to ignore, all is well and the timer stops and my inactive time is not included in the project.

My issue is if I choose to keep the inactive time. I select the option and close the window, but the timer keeps going. I clicked the stop button because I wanted to stop the timer. I then need to click the stop button a second time before it really stops.

Is that the intended behaviour?

Hi Odile!
Thank you for reaching out.
That is currently the expected behavior of the Idle time detector, as it’s also used to discard the time user was making a break in the middle of working that they do not wish to record.

However we will be passing your feedback to the team in charge so they can consider use cases like yours as well in further advancements.

Cheers!
