Please put the play button back

I noticed that in the new version of Clockify you now have to open a drop down menu in order to continue work from a previous session. It was much more convenient when there was a play button you just needed to click for that. From a UX perspective I find that a step back. Can you bring the play button back?

I whole-heartedly agree here.

The new UI looks pretty, but it is not easier to use.

I think the majority of people work on a project and chip away at it one chunk at a time, instead of hitting a big play button with one left click… I now have to navigate over 3 tiny little dots, right click, then select continue.

PLEASE put the play button back. This change alone is enough for me to jump ship.

Totally agree. During the work day I often have to switch to a meeting and back to the current task. It’s my one of the most used feature in the desktop app. And with the new UI it’s quite inconvenient.

Agree, disappointed to see people have been asking for this from the beginning with no real change. campUH is completely right that this is prettier, but not easier to use

Hi, thank you for following up! We have recently updated our desktop apps and added back the Play button so users can continue tracking entries without needing to go through the 3 dots as requested!

Please feel free to update the app or you can also download the latest version of our apps manually here. Cheers!
