New Desktop App too big

My Desktop app on Mac was just updated. I agree the design looks good but I have a big issue with the size.

The smallest I can scale the window is just way too big. I keep Clockify open in a corner of my screen all the time and I felt it was already a little big before the update. Combined with the fact that the new UI is a bit more spaced/less compact it takes up a huge amount of screen for not a lot of info.

My wish is that it would be possible to scale the window even smaller OR that there was an option or window mode that is ultra-compact. I’d personally be fine with just seeing the top part (see idea in image attached). Thanks for hearing my feedback!

Hi @kevincroner,

Since the new desktop app has a limit when resizing down, a workaround I can suggest is enabling both of these options in your Preferences settings: ‘Show Timer in Status Bar’ and ‘Show Project in Status Bar.’

To access your Preferences, follow these steps:

1. Click the three dots in the upper left corner and select ‘Preferences’.
2. Under the ‘General’ tab, toggle on ‘Show Timer in Status Bar’ and ‘Show Project in Status Bar.’

With these options enabled, your running timer will be visible in your Mac status bar.
