We are excited to announce a significant upgrade to our Kiosk Mode, providing greater flexibility and security options for your teams, alongside the restoration of a key administrative control feature.
These enhancements create a complex but straightforward solution designed to cover more use cases, from centralized stations to individual user needs.
What’s new:
We have introduced two new options to make clocking in and out via the Kiosk station faster and more secure:

6-Digit PIN Authentication: The Kiosk now supports a more secure 6-digit PIN for clocking in and out, providing an additional layer of security compared to the previous, shorter PIN options.

QR Code Authentication: Users can now clock in and out instantly by scanning a unique QR Code displayed on the Kiosk screen using the Clockify mobile app. This offers a quick, touchless experience for rapid shift starts and ends.
Coming Soon: Reintroduction of an administrative feature designed to streamline user management and onboarding within the Clockify Kiosk.
Administrators will be able to once again set or edit a user’s 4-digit PIN directly in the Edit profile section.
