People like me sometimes will be in the position when they missed current timer tracking switch in timer mode and they need to modify that previous tracking end time. Some will have it rarely and some more often. And what they have to do to fix it, is this:
-
Stop current tracking.
-
Open up the completed tracking record.
-
Modify end time to earlier time as needed.
-
Remember what is the new end time.
-
Start new tracking.
-
Open it up.
-
Modify the start time to match the previous tracking new end time.
This process may be improved if instead of steps 4 and 7 there was a button or a link next to the new timer tracking start time, that has a meaning “match the most recent tracking end time”.
Another option: skip steps 2, 3, 4. On step 7 select new earlier start time, that overlaps with the previous tracking. Once the application identifies the overlap, it prompts the user to adjust the prevous tracking end time to match the new tracking new start time.
