Really would like to set a default tag for each task. We prefer the timesheet view for time logging and we require our employees to tag their hours. Most tasks will use the same tag for all hours logged, so it would be a huge time saver to have a default.

While it’s not possible to do this at the moment, in case if it’s of any use to you, you can create a custom field that would have a default value for a project.
