Can I import times from one Clockify account to another?

Hi All,

I have a personal Clockify account and now my work has set one up under my work email address.
I’d like to import my previous work time entries from my personal account to my work account.

Is this possible?

Thank you for using Clockify Forum!

The importing of the dates is definitely possible. You can export all of your entries from the detailed report into CSV and give it to the admin of the other workspace to import these entries.

Kindly note that, for the import of the entries to be possible, the workspace where you are importing time needs to be subscribed to any of the paid plans.

Hi

I have a workspace with 7 paid accounts and a workspace with 2 paid accounts and i am trying to import hours from one workspace to another through a export and import csv-file. I follow the way as described by clockify but clockify isn’t importing the hours.

It says: “Unable to read the file. Missing columns: start time”

So probably the export is wrong but how can i solve this problem please?

The file needs to contain the column with the name start time and start time of each time entry needs to be entered. Please feel free to reach out to our Support at support@clockify.me and send us the file you are trying to import so that we can check out where the issue lies.

The problem can be caused by a setting in your export that omits the start time data. It would be helpful to review your export settings to make sure all relevant data is being included.
